1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of dominus.limited (the "Site"), operated by Dominus Society LLC ("Dominus", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Who may use the Site
The Site is intended for businesses and the people who run them. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or submit an enquiry. By submitting an enquiry on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
3. Nature of the Site
The Site describes Dominus and the way we work. It is provided for information only. Nothing on the Site is an offer to provide services, a guarantee of any result, or professional, legal, financial or investment advice. Any services we provide are governed solely by a separate written agreement between Dominus and the client. If there is any conflict between the Site and that agreement, the agreement controls.
Figures on the Site describing our history, such as client revenue generated or businesses served, are aggregate figures drawn from our records. They describe past work and are not a prediction of results for any business.
4. Enquiries and communications
When you submit an enquiry, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it current. You agree that we may contact you by the methods you have provided in connection with your enquiry. Text messaging is governed by the consent you give on the form and by section 4 of our Privacy Policy. Submitting an enquiry does not create a client relationship or any obligation on Dominus to provide services.
5. Intellectual property
The Site and everything on it, including the Dominus name, wordmark, logos, text, photography, graphics, design and code, are owned by Dominus or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view the Site and print pages for your own internal business reference. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display or commercially exploit any part of the Site without our prior written permission. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Dominus name or marks.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
use the Site in any way that breaks the law or these Terms
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or any connected system
use any automated means to access, scrape or collect content or data from the Site
introduce viruses or other harmful code
interfere with the operation or security of the Site
submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through our forms
impersonate any person or business
We may suspend or block access to the Site for anyone we believe has breached these Terms.
7. Third-party links and services
The Site may link to websites or services operated by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
8. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dominus disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that any content is complete or current. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dominus and its owners, officers, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dominus and its owners, officers, employees, contractors and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the Site or your breach of these Terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
12. Changes to the Site and these Terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last revised. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
13. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Dominus regarding your use of the Site. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours.
